The Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nenad Nešić, said today that he received information from the Service for Affairs with Foreigners that Christian Schmidt’s stay in Bosnia and Herzegovina is questionable, because it does not fully comply with positive legal regulations.
He stated that BiH regulations clearly define the conditions under which foreign citizens can stay in our country, as well as the terms of stay.
“Also, I will ask the security agencies to check and provide information on who are the persons who perform security duties for Christian Schmidt, whether they have permits from our agencies to perform that work, as well as permits to possess and carry weapons,” Nešić pointed out, it was announced from the Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The members of the collegium of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Speaker of the House of Peoples, Nikola Špirić, and the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nebojša Radmanović, in today’s joint statement pointed out that they are “vigilantly following the activities of the illegal High Representative Christian Schmidt, who is intensifying the disparagement and undermining of the institutions of the Republika Srpska”, it was announced from the Špirić and Radmanović cabinets.
Špirić and Radmanović stated that “Schmidt’s activities for a long time have been aimed at derogating from the constitutional position and laws of Republika Srpska, by which he not only disrespects its institutions and legally elected representatives, but directly works on their collapse.”
They announced that in the future they will monitor and analyze the situation that “Schmidt caused by his actions, and that they will jointly make decisions as to how appropriate it is to participate in the work of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina if the views and constitutional position of the Republika Srpska are not respected,” it was stated in their joint statement, reports the Public Relations Department of the PSBiH.
