The largest monthly export up to now was in March of this year, valued at 945.6 million BAM. The export value in July was 25.4% greater than the same month of last year, when exports were equal to 774.2 million BAM.

In the first seven months of 2017, exports from BiH totaled 6.18 billion BAM, which is 16.9% more than the same period last year, while imports were 10.14 billion BAM, an increase of 11.8%.
The import-export balance was 61%, while the foreign trade deficit was 3.95 billion BAM.
The primary driver of the increased exports this year is the increased exports to CEFTA countries, where exports grew by 32.9%. Exports to EU countries also grew, by 14.4%. It’s encouraging that imports from CEFTA and EU countries grew at a lower pace than exports, valued at 9.9% and 9.7%, respectively.
