The United States (U.S.) company Zippia, which mediates employment and publishes business data, also announced how much Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, who is among the richest people in the world, earns per day.
Gates was the richest man in the world for almost 20 years, and then he was surpassed in terms of wealth by the founder of the Amazon company Jeff Bezos. However, when it comes to wealth, he is still among the global elite.
As Zippia announced, the average person earns 2.7 million dollars during his lifetime, while Gates earns three to four times more than the stated amount in a day. Estimates of the exact amount of his daily earnings differ, but one of them is that it amounts to 10.95 million dollars, which is 117 dollars per second.
According to another estimate, his daily income amounts to 7.6 million dollars.
Microsoft is one of the sources of Gates’ earnings. Since he founded this company with Paul Allen in 1975, it has dominated various technological markets. Four years ago, it had a market capitalization of one billion dollars. Gates’ sources of income are also real estate investments.
He gives most of his earnings to charity, mainly through the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
