During the weekend the 5th Giro Bambino on Vilsonovo šetaliste was held, a bicycle manifestation for children up to 12 years of age, under the organization of the citizens Giro di Sarajevo.
All 117 children participants successfully passed through the polygon with obstacles, thanks to the directions and assisting members and volunteers of Giro di Sarajevo.
Giro Bambino provided support to the initiative of citizens in an adequate manner for obtaining the unique citizen master number. After the end of the manifestation, valuable prizes were given out. 10 children won bicycle helmets, and the luckiest among them, Zeid Omerović, won a bicycle.
“A large number of participants at this year’s Giro Bambino indicate a need for a rise in the population of bicyclists, especially the youngest ones, for the construction of adequate bicycle trails that will increase road safety. In this direction, all activities of Giro di Sarajevo will take place under the slogan “Za bajkovito Sarajevo”, announced Giro di Sarajevo.
