Bitcoin Breaks Record: Value Surpasses $125,000 for the First Time

The value of the cryptocurrency Bitcoin has crossed the $125,000 mark for the first time in history during intense trading on markets in Asia.

In the past 24 hours, where the total turnover was as much as $50 billion, Bitcoin crossed the $125,000 mark for the first time, just two and a half months after the value reached $120,000.

In the past week alone, the value of the most popular cryptocurrency has increased by as much as 14 percent.

According to CNBC, the main reason for the growth in the value of Bitcoin is the fact that a crisis is expected in the US, due to the shutdown of the government in the absence of a political agreement.

Investors see Bitcoin as a stable ground for investment and turn to it at a time when a crisis is expected.

Numerous analysts from the US believe that the growth will continue, and that Bitcoin could break a new record and exceed the value of $135,000, especially if the political crisis in America continues.
