The body of a migrant was found this morning near the Izačić border crossing, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) of the Una-Sana Canton confirmed.
Members of the BiH Border Police informed the cantonal MUP at 5:00 this morning that they had found the body of a foreign citizen with visible injuries near the border crossing on the road.
MUP spokesperson Abdulah Keranović said that the body is at the Pathology Department of the Cantonal Hospital, where an autopsy is being performed to determine the cause of death.
He said that intensive work is underway to establish the facts and circumstances of the incident.
