The Trump administration announced that the captured Venezuelan leader, Nicolas Maduro, and his wife will face the “full wrath of American justice” over charges related to drugs and terrorism.
Attorney General Pamela Bondi announced on the social media platform X that Maduro and his wife, who, according to Washington, were earlier removed from Venezuela by the United States (U.S.) military, will “soon face the full wrath of U.S. justice on U.S. soil before U.S. courts.”
Bondi recalled that Maduro is facing charges in federal court in New York based on existing indictments for “conspiracy to commit narco-terrorism and the importation of cocaine.”
