The Ministry of Defense in the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Ministry of Defense of Hungary signed on Friday the Roadmap for strengthening bilateral defense cooperation.

The roadmap defines the main goals and potential areas of bilateral cooperation with the aim of supporting the development of the capacities and capabilities of the Bosnian defense system, as well as incentives for the Euro-Atlantic integration process of BiH, the Bosnian Ministry of Defense announced.

The statement also pointed out that the Embassy of Hungary in BiH is also the current embassy for NATO contact. The roadmap was signed in Sarajevo by Assistant Minister of Defense for International Cooperation Zoran Sajinovic and in Budapest by Deputy State Secretary at the Hungarian Ministry of Defense Gergely Nemeth.
