Bosnia and Herzegovina Officially Concludes EuroBasket in 13th Place

FIBA has announced the official ranking of the teams that were eliminated in the round of 16 at EuroBasket, and Bosnia and Herzegovina finished the competition in 13th place.

FIBA classifies teams that are eliminated in the group stage and the round of 16 based on previously established criteria, which are group stage position, group stage ratio, and group stage goal difference.

Thus, 9th place at EuroBasket was taken by France, which was 1st in Group D, and 10th place went to Serbia ahead of Italy, although both teams finished second in their groups with an identical score (4-1), but Serbia had a better goal difference (+66 vs. +63).
Based on the same criterion, goal difference (+28 vs. 0), Latvia finished in 12th place, and Bosnia and Herzegovina in 13th place, although both teams were third in their groups with a score of 3-2.

By winning the 13th place, our basketball players achieved the second greatest success in history, given that they did not surpass the 8th place won in 1993.
