Delegates of the Bosniak People’s Club in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PSBiH) today submitted a criminal complaint to the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina against Milorad Dodik for the criminal offense of inciting national, racial and religious hatred, discord and intolerance from the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The criminal complaint refers to the last statements of Milorad Dodik, which insult and humiliate the Bosniak people.
“These statements of the mentioned person are not the only ones, but represent a continuation of statements from several years ago that insult and humiliate the Bosniak people. Undoubtedly, this behavior constitutes the criminal offense for which it is being reported. It is obvious that only criminal prosecution can stop the uncivilized behavior of the reported person. The history of Bosnia and Herzegovina teaches us that words that remain without a judicial response often precede crimes that can no longer be stopped,” the Club of Bosniak People states.
At the same time, the Bosniak People’s Club will raise before the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina responsible for the execution of court judgments the issue of the full execution of the judgment of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, by which Milorad Dodik was recently convicted.
“This particularly refers to respecting the legal consequences of a conviction, and especially when it comes to the performance of the duties of the president of a political party,” it is stated in the statement of the Bosniak People’s Club in the House of Peoples of the PSBiH.
