The actor and writer from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Feđa Štukan, was detained on Sunday at the “Nikola Tesla” airport in Belgrade, and today he will be deported to Sarajevo, his lawyer Ahmed Delimeđac confirmed for the Nova.rs portal.
Delimeđac said that the police did not allow him to see Štukan, who was detained while trying to enter Serbia, as well as another lawyer, Sead Spahović.
“We, his lawyers, have not yet received a decision on the ban, we assume that it is a measure determined by the BIA, and the problem with such measures is the discretionary assessment of the Security and Information Agency, that is, they do not even have an explanation for such a thing they determine. Actually, it is a campaign against people who, in one way or another, do not answer to the authorities,” said Delimeđac.
He pointed out that Štukan has not yet received a decision banning him from entering Serbia, although it was discussed, but only on Sunday, when he tried to enter, was he served with it.
The media remind that last year BH actor was detained at the border crossing between BiH and Serbia for several hours.
It was right after he first supported the “Serbia against violence” protests, and then attended the protest march in Belgrade.
According to Serbian media, Štukan was invited to a literary evening on Sunday, more precisely to the Krokodil festival.
