Bosnian Coffee is on the List of the best Soft Drinks in the world

Taste Atlas published a list of the 100 best soft drinks, and Bosnian coffee was also on it.

It took the 66th place, and the visitors of the mentioned page gave it a rating of 4.1. Taste Atlas states that Bosnian and Turkish coffee are quite similar and that it is best to describe Bosnian as a type of Turkish coffee.

The Bosnian version is prepared with well-ground roasted coffee beans. A coffee grinder is sometimes used for this. There are several ways of preparation, but it is most often made by boiling water in a kettle and adding ground coffee. You need to mix and heat it until a thick foam appears.

It should be left to stand until the sediment settles to the bottom. Often a small amount of hot water is added to the kettle after the coffee has been brewed.
It is served in a jezva, on a small copper tray with a cup, sugar cubes and a glass of water. Many also add rahat lokum. Tradition says that the cube should be dipped in coffee and bitten, followed by a sip of coffee.

The first place mentioned was taken by the Mexican soft drinks aguas frescas. You can view the complete list here.
