Bosnian Lamija Suljević Participates at the Prestigious Contest ELLE Style Awards

The Bosnian fashion designer Lamija Suljević who lives in Sweden participated at the ELLE Style Awards-New Nordic Talent of the year 2014. Lamija will compete with her collection with Srebrenica’s tragedy as a theme. The magazine ELLE would finance her next collection and her continuing career if she wins this prestigious contest. Lamija was born in Foča and has been living in Sweden since 1992. She graduated from the University of Design Beckmans in Stockholm in May 2013. She works for the famous University in Scandinavia, where she studied and won the highest recognition for her creations, inspired by Bosnian culture and folk handicrafts. The famous Bea Akerlund, the designer of Lady Gaga, Madona and many other famous personalities wore a dress from Lamija’s collection at the charity fashion show in Vienna.
