The Bosnia and Herzegovina national team in sitting volleyball defeated the Turkish national team 3:0 (25:15, 25:17, 25:14) in sets in the quarterfinals of the European Championship being held in the Hungarian city of Gyor.
After finishing the group stage of the competition without defeat and securing first place in group B with maximum performance, the team of coach Ifet Mahmutović continued their march towards a new title of champion of the old continent with a dominant victory against Turkey.
The volleyball players of BiH will play in the semifinals against the winner of the quarterfinal duel between Poland and Serbia, which is currently underway.
The Poles finished the group stage in second place in group A, while the Serbian selection was third in group B, where they also met with the BiH team, to which they lost with a convincing 3:0.
