Brčko Supervisor, Michael Scanlan, and the French Ambassador to BiH, H.E. Christine Toudic, visited Brčko on Wednesday and Thursday.

They also met the District Chief Prosecutor to discuss the imperative of prosecuting corruption with no one above the law.

On Thursday, Scanlan and Toudic visited the Brčko Port and met with the Port management, who briefed them on the steps remaining to allow for work to begin this spring to modernise the Port.

Apart from the joint meetings, the Brčko Supervisor also met the heads of caucuses of the BH Bloc and SDS in the Brčko District Assembly, as well as independent delegate Đorđe Popović, and independent delegate and representative of the Roma minority Mejra Šečić. Scanlan reiterated his message that Brčko authorities need to move quickly within the first quarter of 2021 on reforms that demonstrate their stated commitment to good governance in the District.
