The brilliant young swimmer Ismail Barlov (13) will carry the flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the closing of the Paralympic Games tonight in Paris.
Ismail performed for the first time at the Paralympic Games and, at the age of 13, entered history because he became one of the youngest medal winners ever.
The boy from Sarajevo delighted the sports world in the final of the 50-meter breaststroke when he won the silver medal, thus showing that there are no obstacles and that he has a great sporting future ahead of him.
He is the second youngest participant of the Games in Paris and the first athlete from our country to win a medal in individual sports at the Olympic or Paralympic Games.
The closing of the Paralympic Games is scheduled for tonight between 20:00 and 23:00 in Paris, and will be held at the Saint-Denis Stadium. The BiH team will boast two medals, both silver, won by the aforementioned Barlov and the BiH national team in sitting volleyball.
Barlov will carry the BiH flag at the closing ceremony, which is a great honor for a young swimmer.
During the closing ceremony of the Paralympic Games, it is planned to pose with medals, sing anthems, hold speeches, thank volunteers and announce the next Paralympic Games in Los Angeles in 2028.
