Following the adoption of scandalous conclusions in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska (NARS), the British Ambassador to BiH, Julian Reilly, has commented.

The session, among other things, adopted a decision to call a referendum regarding the verdict of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) against the former president of the entity of Republika Srpska (RS), after which the Central Election Commission (CEC) stripped him of his mandate.

“The Court of BiH, an independent institution, convicted the former president of Republika Srpska, Mr. Dodik, and that verdict must be respected. Holding a referendum for any court verdict or disrespect for it would be illegal and would undermine the rule of law and the constitutional order of BiH,” Reilly stated.

Recall that last night, the NARS adopted 13 conclusions, including a conclusion that tasks the Collegium of the National Assembly with preparing the text of the Resolution on the self-determination of the Serbian people and Republika Srpska.
