Bundestag Representative Marieluise Beck : B&H Politicians Should Undertake Responsibility

Members of the Constitutional -Legal Committee of Representative House of B&H Parliamentary Assembly held a meeting today in Sarajevo with the German Representative of the Bundestag and Chairperson of German-B&H Friendship Group Marieluise Beck.

The topic of the meeting was the current situation in B&H with the emphasis on the European path of B&H and protests of citizens.

Bundestag German Representative Marieluise Beck, who finishes today a three day visit in B&H, expressed her hope that “B&H politicians will have enough intelligence and wisdom and with visible steps will show that B&H can progress towards European integration”.

“B&H citizens demand to not have new obstacles in their path towards European integration. I have met with young and educated people in Tuzla and Sarajevo, who want to become a part of democratic European society. They emphasized clearly that they require from B&H politicians to undertake responsibilities”, said Beck.

Also, she emphasized that there should not be any violence at the protests, neither from protestors, nor from the police.
