Canton Sarajevo Will Received Water Purifying Plant in 700 Days

postrojenjeThe contract for reconstruction of a plant for water-waste purifying in Butile was signed today in Sarajevo. Reconstruction works started officially by signing this contract and the deadline is 22 November 2015. The value of this project is 50.116.595 BAM.

Prime Minister of Canton Sarajevo Suad Zeljković, and acting Director of Vodovod Hasija Busuladžić, crew head for implementation of the project “Otpadne vode Sarajevo” Nermin Drnda and representatives of company and contractors Unioninvesta Zlatko Čengić and Mirza Ferhatović and representative of Unioninvesta d.d. Sarajevo B&H and Passavant Roediger GmbH Germany Hasan Taskin signed the contract.

This project will be partly financed from the funds of the World Bank, and partly from IPA funds, in the amount of 13 million Euros.

As was noted, the plant will be put into function in 700 days, with the degree of purification as used it to be before the war. This plant will create the necessary conditions for improving the quality of life of the citizens of Canton Sarajevo.
