Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz managed to win the Wimbledon final against Novak Djokovic, the Serbian tennis player with the most Grand Slam titles won, with a score of 3:0 in sets (6:2, 6:2, 7:6).
For Alcaraz, third on the ATP list, this was the second Wimbledon final, and in last year’s final he was also better than the Serbian tennis player.
In a match that lasted more than two hours, Alcaraz won the first set, after reaching a score of 6:2 without any problems. After an hour and 15 minutes of play, the Spaniard increased his lead to 2:0 in sets (6:2).
In the third set, Djokovic raised his level of play and saved three tied match points, with the score 5:4 in the games.
After 6:6 in the games, a tie-break was played in which the young Spaniard was better, which ultimately brought him the fourth Grand Slam title in his career.
Djokovic, currently second on the ATP list, has so far won seven titles at the most prestigious tournament in London, and won a total of 24 Grand Slam titles in his rich career, AA writes.
