The acting prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office suggested to the Municipal Court in Sarajevo that the custody of the suspects Admir Arnautović, Adnan Maglić, Anel Sejfović, Mirsad Mujkić and Hamza Asotić be extended for another two months.
The extension was proposed due to the danger that the suspects could influence the witnesses and repeat the crime by being at large.
Let us remind you that they were deprived of their freedom in the operation codenamed “Catering”.
It is a complex and extensive investigation by the CS Prosecutor’s Office, which is being conducted against 15 persons for several criminal acts, namely extortion, unauthorized traffic in narcotic drugs, causing general danger and other illegal actions.
The indictment of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina against Admir Arnautović Šmrk and Adnan Maglić Magla provides new details about the activities for which the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina charges them, including the alleged laundering of money obtained from the drug and arms trade.
According to the indictment, the money that the Prosecution claims was obtained through illegal activities was invested in various assets, including real estate and luxury vehicles, as well as in business shares. The Prosecution states that part of the property is registered to the suspects or persons close to them.
One of the details that particularly attracts attention is the allegation of an investment in a company based in East Sarajevo, in which, according to information published in the media, Arnautović had a 10 percent ownership stake.
