Cazin: 76th Generation of Medresa graduated

13393019_1778953065674703_1120056182_nIn crowded sports hall of  Medresa (Islamic high school) “Dzemaludin Causevic” in Cazin yesterday was held a solemn academy on the occasion of farewell of the 76th generation of high school male graduates and 21st generation of female graduates of this school.

The ceremony was attended by many guests from the religious, political and cultural life, as well as relatives and friends of graduates who filled the entire capacity of the hall.

“This is a great day for our school. I am a class teacher of one of the two classes of male graduates. I can say that I have been very satisfied with these children through this education of 4 years. There is a large number of valedictorians and I wish them all the best in continuing of their education,” said Ibrahim Redzic, a professor in medresa.

Mufti of Bihac, Hasan ef. Makic, emphasized that today is a great day for medresa. He congratulated all the graduates, their parents and staff of medresa on very good results and success.

“Today is the first tarawih prayer and we are already in pre-Ramadan cheerful mood. We are expecting our dearest guest, we look forward to Ramadan, tarawih prayers, going to the mosque, mukabelas, suhur, iftar, gatherings, lectures and all other activities of Ramadan. Every new Ramadan is great thing for us, and this ceremony is probably the best introduction to our favorite month,” said Hasan ef. Makic, Mufti of Bihac, emphasizing that each new generation of graduates from medresa is confirmation of serious and hard work.

Today was emphasized that the students of medresa have gained significant knowledge, competences and skills during 4 years of education, and many people expect from them to use these values in the correct manner in the life that follows.

“We are saying goodbye to students of primary schools that we welcomed 4 years ago with opened arms at medresa’s doors as mature people now who are willing to walk through life with dignity and bring the trust of faith and deliver it to those who expect this tradition from students of medresa,” said Seid Eminovic, Head of the Department for elementary and secondary education in the Islamic Community in BiH.

This year “Dzemaludin Causevic” Medresa was successfully completed by 61 graduates, including valedictorians. Valedictorians are Naila Elkasovic and Mirza Sakonjic.

Moreover, the ceremonies of farewells of graduates from medresa’s started in late April in the Gazi-Husrev Bey Medresa in Sarajevo, and ended up with the ceremonial academy for graduates in “Dzemaludin Causevic” Medresa in Cazin.
