At the same time, the Faculty for Criminology and Security Studies gave 50 editions of the books for employees of the CCI, but they will also be available for those who are serving their sentences.
The agreement has a primary purpose, and that is preventing the criminality and the training of future students for the work on that field.
Zelenika reminded that the first phase of works on the new prison in Mostar that is being built in the southern part of Mostar, is finished, and that around 4 million BAM were invested until now, while the estimated value of that project is 30 million BAM.
“With building the new prison, whose construction was design according to the European standards, this CCI should be one of the most modern and the safest prisons at the region of former Yugoslavia, but the Europe as well. By expanding the prison capacities, the issue of the closure of convicts at the region of Herzegovina would be finally solved“, concluded Zelenika, Head of the CCI Mostar.
