At today’s session, the Central Election Commission /CIK/ of BiH fined the Movement “Secure Srpska” /PSS/ with a total of 15,000 KM for abusing children for political purposes and premature election campaign.
In the first case, the PSS was fined 10,000 KM because the candidates of this party published photos from the parties of this political entity in which children were seen.
In addition to the party, candidates who shared photos from Adrijan Basar’s party were fined 3,500 KM, while Mirna Savić Banjac and Tanja Palačković were fined 3,000 KM each.
In another case, PSS was fined 5,000 KM because children were seen on social media posts of this party, and party candidate Draško Stanivuković was also fined 4,000 KM for this violation.
Due to the premature campaign, NiP was fined 4,000 KM today, and the political party “Strength of the People – Ramo Isak” was fined the same amount for abusing children for political purposes, and the candidate of this party, Edin Kajević, who shared photos with children, was also fined. Kajević was also fined 4,000 KM.
Today, the Central Election Commission made decisions on increasing the fees for the work of polling boards, and determined that the fees for operators should be 310 KM.
A decision was made to select the most favorable bidder for the procurement of printing and packing services for candidate lists, and the contract worth KM 102,558 excluding VAT will be signed with a group of bidders consisting of “Smartmatik BiH”, “Smartmatik International” and the DSC Agency for the Protection of People and Property.
At today’s session, CEC members Vanja Bjelica Prutina and Željko Bakalar stated that the commission should focus more on trade in election committees and the elections that follow, instead of cases about the premature campaign.
At the end of the session, CEC President Jovan Kalaba said that all scanners have arrived in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and that the delivery of devices and ballots to municipal and city election commissions will start on Sunday, September 27.
