The former head of the Islamic Community in BiH, Mustafa Cerić, spoke about the fact that High Representative Christian Schmidt, in his report to the UN Security Council, criticized reis Husein Kavazovic.
Namely, in the report, Schmidt criticized the statement of Kavazović, which referred to the defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
To that, Kavazović replied that he will always defend his homeland, because it is the sacred duty of every Muslim.
“Let Schmidt write his reports, that’s his job,” commented Reisu-l-ulema Kavazović.
Former head of Islamic Community in BiH Cerić gave his comment on all this, where he announced that, if Schmidt does not withdraw the “malicious report” about reis Kavazović, he will renounce two high German awards for the promotion of peace and stability in BiH and the world.
“Imagine that after the Holocaust, the UN Security Council appoints a high representative in Germany with the task of protecting the German Nazis from the victims of the Holocaust. You can’t even imagine it, but you can practically see the appointment of a high representative for Bosnia, who is tasked with protecting the deniers of the genocide and the associated criminal enterprise from victims of genocide and a joint criminal enterprise,” Cerić wrote on his Facebook.
Cerić considers Schmidt’s report in which he criticized Reis Kavazović to be the most monstrous expression of hatred towards Islam, Muslims and Bosniaks.
“His hypocritical Eid visit to Kavazović was a camouflage for what he intended to convey to the world, which is that the Bosniak supreme leader is disrupting peace and stability in Bosnia,” Cerić believes.
Finally, he directly asked Schmidt to unconditionally withdraw from his report the paragraph about Kavazović because, as he claims, it is not a blasphemous assessment of him only, but of all Bosniaks.
“If you don’t distance yourself from the blasphemous statement about Kavazović, I will publicly renounce both recognitions, which were awarded to me in your country, as my protest against your actions in my country”, is the message that Cerić sent to the high representative in BiH.
