In the aforementioned period, export amounted to 6.181 billion USD, which is an increase of 16.9% compared to 2016.
Exports to CEFTA countries was 980 million BAM, which was 32.9% greater than in the same period in 2017 and the trade balance was 77.8%.
4.47 billion BAM worth of goods were exported to the European Union, which is 14.4% greater than in the same period of last year, while the balance was 72.1%.
The total trade balance was 61%, which is 2.7% greater than in 2016.
The trend of growth continued of industrial production compared to the previous year, while the growth of the production was followed by the growth in the number of employed in the real sector.
At the same time, in the first seven months of 2017, the growth of tourism in BiH continued, as well as the growth of income in tourism.
At the time, significant improvements in the implementation of activities in the path of EU integrations, with a special focus on answering the EC Questionnaire, which is now past the obstructions and is now in an optimal dynamic of realization, considering the progress which was realized in credible assumptions for the activation of the map for BiH, especially the Constitutional Court decision regarding “Veliki Zep”.
The honest dedication of further economic reforms and continuity in the process of European and NATO integrations are still in the top of the priorities of the work of the Council of Ministers.
“Our most important goal is that BiH strongly and permanently remains on the path to dynamic approach to Euroatlantic integrations and through the expert valorization and planned use of domestic resources for economic growth, continued increase in the number of employed, and develop and strengthen our ambient of our social stability and total security of BiH,” according to the Council of Ministers.
