The Chairperson of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željka Cvijanović, launched the mechanism to protect the vital interests of Republika Srpska due to the over-voting at the regular session of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina on Wednesday, June 21, regarding two points from the domain of foreign policy.
This was confirmed to Srna news agency in the Cabinet of the Chairperson of the BiH Presidency.
The mechanism for the protection of vital interests was submitted by Cvijanović under the item Proposed conclusion for the urgent adoption of the Agreement on freedom of movement with identity cards in the Balkans, the Agreement on the recognition of professional qualifications of doctors of medicine, doctors of dental medicine and architects in the context of the Central European Agreement on Free Trade and the Agreement on the Recognition of Qualifications of High education in the Balkans.
She also initiated this mechanism under the item Proposal of a conclusion for the adoption of the Action Plan for the implementation of 14 priorities from the Opinion of the European Commission on Bosnia and Herzegovina’s application for membership in the European Union.
Cvijanović launched a mechanism to protect the vital interests of Republika Srpska within the time limit stipulated by the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Rules of Procedure of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
