Chair of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Borjana Krišto, spoke today in Sarajevo with the Minister for European and International Affairs of the Republic of Austria, Alexander Schallenberg, and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Italy, Antonio Tajani, about the European path of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Krišto expressed her gratitude and satisfaction with the visit of the ministers of friendly European countries that provide continuous support to Bosnia and Herzegovina on its European journey.
She emphasized the readiness of Bosnia and Herzegovina to strengthen the institutional, economic, defense, security, and cultural ties with Austria and Italy, which would bring BiH closer to the European family of nations.
She informed the ministers about the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially about the process of establishment of government at all levels, and expressed her belief that this process will be completed soon, to focus energy on reform processes related to European integration.
She emphasized that the priorities of the BiH Council of Ministers, by their competencies, are the fulfillment of 14 European conditions in connection with the further integration progress of our country.
BiH CoM Chair pointed out that an important link in the stabilization of domestic political conditions is the amendment of the electoral legislation, the implementation of the decision of the Constitutional Court of BiH and all judgments of the European Court of Human Rights, the Council of Ministers of BiH announced.
