Chairperson of the Presidency of BiH meets the Prime Minister of Greece

Chairperson of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željka Cvijanović, met today in Athens with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

The officials stated that Bosnia and Herzegovina and Greece have no outstanding issues and good bilateral relations should be the basis for further enhancement of all other forms of cooperation.

They emphasized the need to strengthen economic cooperation, with an emphasis on the field of energy.

The interlocutors also exchanged opinions on the process of European integration, with special reference to the upcoming session of the European Council, where the granting of candidate status for BiH will be considered.

On this occasion, the Chairperson of the BiH Presidency, Željka Cvijanović, expressed the expectation that BiH will get a candidate status for membership in the European Union in a few days, thanking Greece for its continued support for the European perspective of all Western Balkan countries.

During the meeting, Cvijanović informed the interlocutor about the current political situation in BiH, expressing the hope that the process of implementing the election results will be completed quickly and efficiently at all levels of government, announced the Presidency of BiH.
