“Circus” by iconic artist of silent films Charlie Chaplin appeared in 1928 and is melancholic combination of comedy and tragedy. Chaplin’s character joins the circus and becomes a huge star. He falls in love with the owner’s stepdaughter, who chooses another. When the circus leaves, he is left alone.
Before the screening of ‘Circus’ and a short animated film, there will be a children’s program, including a workshop that will provide insight into the 33 mm projector. All those interested will be able to get involved in setting up the film projector screens, as well as other areas of preparation of the screenings.
The screenings will begin in Sarajevo on 6 August at 21:00 between the National and Historic Museum, and will follow in Srebrenica, Gradiška, Banja Luka, Mrkonjić Grad, Široki Brijeg and Jablanica.
All screenings will take place outdoors.
