Belgrade is nowhere near making the list of the cheapest cities in Europe, but there are plenty of cities in the neighborhood where you won’t spend a fortune.
“Popular destinations in Greece, Spain, Italy, and other countries are struggling with over-tourism, and prices are becoming similar everywhere. But don’t worry, if your budget is limited this year, there are still places you can visit without going bankrupt,” the article states, listing European cities ideal for travelers on a limited budget.
As they stated, smaller cities often have fewer tourists and less crowding, and plane ticket prices are more affordable.
Of course, they immediately noted that the term “cheap city” should be taken with a grain of salt, as everything depends on habits and the time of year, but each destination on the list offers a different experience.
