The organizers of the concert of JU Sarajevo Art and the Music Academy Sarajevo, and they announce that Taylor will present a remarkable program to the audiene-an integral performance of Bach’s Goldberg Variations and the third piano sonata of Sergej Prokofiev. With this program, Taylor will continue to provoke the interest of the public, but also with high expectations.
The expectations and interests are very high after his recent performances, most notably the two-hour recital in 2013, which was well received in Sarajevo, and proclaimed as a unique artistic event in Sarajevo.
Taylor is known to the Sarajevo public considering that he is in Sarajevo for the third time, as a partner to Sarajevo Chamber Music Festival, and this year the cycle finalizes his participation as a resident pianist of SCMF. The specific occasion of his visit to Sarajevo is the cycle of master workshops that he will hold for young pianists from B&H and the region, organized by the Academy after numerous requests from participants of Sarajevo Chamber Music Institute, expressed by the enthusiastic outstanding performances of this great pianist. In this way, SCMF continues its activities of leading classroom chamber music artists from our region.
