Companies from Montenegro interested in Sarajevo Halal Fair

Sarajevo Halal Fair (SHF) 2019 was presented in the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro. Montenegrin companies and associations were informed about the second in a row, International Halal Industry Fair – which will be held in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina from September 26 to 28, 2019.

SHF 2019 is, on behalf of the organizers – Bosna Bank International (BBI), Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) and IsDB Group Business Forum THIQAH, presented to businessmen from Montenegro by Azra Čolic on behalf of BBI VIP Business Club and Nermin Hadžić from the Agency for Halal – quality Certification of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The presentation was organized in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro, and the participants were greeted on behalf of the host, by Ljiljana Filipović, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro, and at the presentation was also attended by Merisa Čekić, Head of the Directorate for Quality Schemes and Land Policy of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Montenegro.

A special interest in SHF 2019 and in general in the topic of the halal market was shown by shown members of the Board of the Association for Tourism and Hospitality at the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro. This presentation also attracted the representatives of the NGO Association for Promotion of Islamic Economics in Montenegro. Earlier this summer, this Association has organized a festival dedicated to halal products and services in Montenegro. It is especially important to point out the presence of a significant number of representatives of certification companies from Montenegro who were interested in the details of the possibilities of their inclusion in the market of halal certification.

Participation at the Sarajevo Halal Fair 2019 has so far been confirmed and announced by participants from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Albania, Turkey, Malaysia, Indonesia, Austria, Germany, United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, France, Lithuania
