According to Kol, the problem is in the access to the garage of the hotel from Mula Mustafa Baseskija Street. This is the only possible approach to hotel garage, since on the other side of the building is Ferhadija Street, which is closed for traffic.
The investor has received the necessary approvals for the hotel and underground garage to be built in the existing dimensions. However, there are problems of unresolved property-legal relations for which the Count did not receive permission for road access to the hotel.
Fatih Kol did not want to speak about the details to the media and he has only briefly commented that the situation will soon be resolved and that he hopes works will start in March.
Fatih Kol plans to build a luxurious and modern hotel of the same dimensions and external facade as it was before, because this building is under the state protection.
In an earlier interview with Facktor, Kol pointed out that the new building will remind and be a symbol of the time when it was built. The hotel will be of a total investment of 10 million, will have between 50 and 56 modern rooms, two levels of underground parking, and will employ 60 people.
