Construction of a new Sports Field in Kakanj began

Construction of a new sports field with playground for children began in the city core of Kakanj, near the post office. Works amounting to 100.000 BAM are financed by the Municipality Aliağa, an integral part of the region Izmir in the Republic of Turkey and a municipality with which Kakanj has established good brotherly relations.

Conceptual design of the project was made by the young architect from Kakanj Ivan Bošnjak.

Playground which was jointly constructed by the Cement Factory Kakanj and Kakanj Municipality in the city center was opened last year. This playground is currently out of service due to winter season, but with the first spring days the fittings will be returned.
