As a reminder, after the triumph of the BH cadets over Germany with the score of 70:54, which secured them the qualifications to the semi-finals of the Eurobasket and direct placement to the World Championships 2016, FIBA broke the celebration of the players and the coaching staff, warning them that B&H will be expelled from the competition if 10.000 Euros of participation fee are not paid.
The Council of Ministers of B&H stated that they have reached a decision already in early August that the means in the amount of 100.000 BAM for the competitions and activities are to be approved for the Basketball Federation of B&H.
“After the implemented procedures, these funds were paid to the account of the Basketball Federation of B&H through the Treasury of B&H on August 12th this year. According to this decision, the means have been paid to the Olympic Committee of B&H – 100.000 BAM, Special Olympics of B&H – 25.000 BAM; Sports and Recreation Club ‘Stens’ – 40.000 BAM, and the International Handball Tournament of the Champions Doboj – 40.000 BAM”, it was announced from the Cabinet of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of B&H.
