The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has extended the detention of Polish citizen Bartlomje Krakovjak for another two months due to the suspicion that he desecrated religious property in Medjugorje.
The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina stated that detention can last until October 27 or until a new court decision.
The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina previously requested an extension of custody in order to complete the investigation in this case, while the defense proposed a measure of prohibition.
A Polish citizen was arrested on July 28 in the town of Cerno near Ljubuški after he damaged religious property in the area of Medjugorje the night before.
