The theme was “Prilike za razvoj zelenih gradova u BiH” (Opportunities for the development of green cities in B&H. Children on their own managed to create how a yard should look like.
Participants of the workshops got to know more about different types of decorative plants and how to plan them. A round table was held as well on the topic of environmental preservation.
The organizer of these activities is the Association “Aarhus Center in B&H” in cooperation with the OSCE Mission in B&H. In addition to their representatives and pupils, participants of the events were from the city administration and from several environmental organizations and not only from Sarajevo.
The theme of global network of this year’s Earth day is “Green cities”.
