The Republic of Croatia has received an invitation from the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) to participate in the proceedings of Slaven Kovacevic against Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia confirmed.
As stated, the invitation is under review, and Croatia will respond within the given deadline (by October 23rd).
Kovacevic sued BiH because, as a member of the “Others” category, he is not allowed to vote for the Serb member of the BiH Presidency or serve as a delegate in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH (PABiH).
