Member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović stated that the Presidency had not agreed that BiH would be represented by Denis Bećirović at the UN Security Council session.
“If one person could represent BiH, then it would only be if the other two and that one had previously agreed, which is not the case in this case either. After all, it is certainly not without reason that BiH has a three-member Presidency,” said Cvijanović.
She added that things are clear that way, except for those who want to live in delusion.
Referring to the headlines in the media that BiH would be represented by Bećirović at the Security Council session, and that Christian Schmidt would also be attending, Cvijanović stated that the position of Republika Srpska is that processes in BiH should be returned to domestic institutions so that the country can function on the basis of its constitution.
“Unilateral actions by unelected foreign representatives, in violation of the Dayton Agreement, have caused immeasurable damage to BiH and destroyed trust between the constituent peoples,” Cvijanović wrote on X.
