The Minister for Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sevlid Hurtić, opened this evening the “Day of Italian Cuisine in Tuzla 2024”, which is organized by the Association of Citizens of Italian Origin “Rino Zandonai” from Tuzla.
This event, dedicated to the promotion of Italian culture and tradition, includes the presentation of traditional Italian folk costumes and culinary specialties.
The special emphasis of the event was on the promotion of Italian folk costumes, which was financed through a grant from the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Ministry has recognized the importance of preserving the cultural heritage of national minorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and through this support additionally contributes to the preservation of the Italian cultural tradition in Tuzla and beyond.
In his address, Minister Hurtić emphasized the importance of intercultural dialogue and the preservation of the heritage of minority communities as an indispensable part of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s cultural wealth. He also emphasized the Ministry’s commitment to further support projects that promote cultural diversity and strengthen ties between communities.
The event “Day of Italian Cuisine in Tuzla 2024” continues with numerous activities that include culinary workshops, tasting of Italian specialties, and a cultural and artistic program, announced the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
