Defeat of BiH after three Davis Cup Matches

The national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina was defeated by the German team in the Davis Cup of the First World Group, which was played this weekend in Mostar.

After the first day, Bosnia and Herzegovina was two points behind in a duel that was played for three victories, and then today it was defeated again.

First, the German tennis player Daniel Altmaier defeated the Bosnian tennis player Nerman Fatić with a score of 7:6; 6:2 in the first Davis Cup match, while the second point for the Germans was brought by Yannick Hanfmann who beat Damir Dzumhur 6:2, 6:1.

After yesterday’s defeats, the German doubles tennis players Kevin Krawietz/Tim Puetz defeated Mirza Bašić and Damir Džumhur in two sets today (6:4; 6:2).

After this defeat, Bosnia and Herzegovina will fight through the play-offs for survival in the First World Group, and the draw is scheduled for September 20. The matches are scheduled for February next year.
