Demining of Javorni Peak Near Malovan Began

These days the demining of around 55.000 square meters of minefields in the areas of the locality Javorni peak between Malovan and Šuica began these days. By the end of this month, it is planned to have around 80 percent of the area cleared, and the rest later.

The demining is being carried out by the humanitarian organization Pro Vita under the control of BHMAC. The value of the project is 101.232 BAM, and financed by “HB forests” and the international community in cooperation with the Demining Foundation.
