The Deputy Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) Government, Vojin Mijatovic, stated that the latest unconstitutional laws adopted in the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska (NARS) represent an attack on the Constitution of BiH.
“Milorad Dodik and his majority are trying to lead the country into war. Without a doubt, SDP BiH representatives in the NARS will not support changes to the RS Constitution that imply changes to the legal order of BiH.
I call on the Prosecutor’s Office and institutions of BiH to immediately begin prosecuting all those who are undermining the constitutional order of BiH.
I have said it a hundred times, and I will repeat it: BiH is defended in every part of BiH, especially in Banja Luka and the institutions of the RS, where it is under attack.
I appeal that if on Wednesday we reach the voting on Dodik and Stevandic’s infamous wishes and congratulations, representatives should consider whether they will bear criminal responsibility.
I am from Banja Luka and the Deputy Prime Minister of the FBiH Government; I have never had any problems, neither in the FBiH nor in the RS. Do not create a false image that someone is threatened. For the first time in history, a Serb from Banja Luka is the Deputy Prime Minister of the FBiH Government – so then conclude for yourselves where the problem is,” Mijatovic said.
