On the first day of spring, the Second OCR “Venom Run” obstacle race will be held in Derventa, where 250 competitors from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Italy have so far registered to participate.
The first race of this kind in this part of BiH was organized last year by enthusiasts and lovers of this type of adrenaline sport, where 180 competitors took part. This year, so far, 250 of them have been registered, including the youngest and people with developmental disabilities.
“The race falls on the day of people with Down syndrome. With this, we want to show that our organization is more than just an event, that we take care of all segments of society. We will also mark that day and make a race adapted to their needs,” said race organizer Milenko Cvjetković.
This year, the event was financially and organizationally supported by the City Administration.
“It will be a real spectacle. I am also glad that the race covers a wider area of our city and the competitors and runners themselves will have the opportunity to get to know Derventa better,” said the mayor of Derventa, Igor Žunić.
Online registration is open until March 14 or until the race is full.
