A round table with business executives and the results of the digitalization survey among domestic companies with a focus on exports are presented was held today in Zenica. Similar events, held in Banja Luka and Mostar, gave the opportunity to more than 80 representatives of companies and development agencies in BiH to analyze the needs and discuss the adequate digitalization models.
As pointed out at this forum, some of the challenges that small and medium enterprises are facing in the process of digitalization include segments of production and storage, as well as management of human and material resources. In addition, there is no link between sales, purchasing and production, while digital communication with customers and suppliers is at a very early stage of development or does not exist.
The results of research and proposals from the forums will be published in June 2019 in the study “Use of information-communication technologies as an impetus to the competitiveness of the BiH companies”.
