At the beginning of July, a disciplinary complaint was filed against Sabina Sarajlija, the chief prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Canton of Sarajevo, for violations of the principle of impartiality and negligence and carelessness in the performance of official duties.
The information was confirmed for Klix.ba by the Office of the Disciplinary Prosecutor of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC).
On July 13 of this year, the office filed a disciplinary complaint against Sabina Sarajlija, chief prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office in Sarajevo, to the First Instance Disciplinary Commission of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“Due to the disciplinary offenses of ‘violation of the principle of impartiality’, ‘negligence or inattention in the performance of official duties’ and ‘interference in the actions of a judge or prosecutor with the intention of obstructing or underestimating their activities’ of the Law on the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina”, they pointed out from Office of the Disciplinary Prosecutor of the HJPC.
In accordance with the Law on the HJPC, that body can impose disciplinary measures ranging from a written warning, up to salary reduction or transfer to lower positions, as well as dismissal.
