Dizdarevic: An Event that is on the Verge of Changing the entire geopolitical and geostrategic Situation in the World

“I think it is an event that is on the verge of changing the entire geopolitical and geostrategic situation in the world,” said prominent ex-BiH diplomat, ambassador to Jordan and longtime journalist Zlatko Dizdarević, commenting on the attack on the Al Ahli hospital in Gaza, in which hundreds of people died.

As he said in his statement to Fena, the story of the Hamas attack on Israel and civilians was absolutely one-way in the international political public, especially in the West.

“It was a reaction to a truly terrorist and tragic act. However, it was expected that after that the political forces in the world will do everything in their power to condemn what needs to be condemned and punish the one who needs to be punished, but that the matter will not go into the most terrible possible revenge that takes on the characteristics of genocide,” said Dizdarević.

“What happened yesterday, to target hospitals, to target civilians, and before that to make a decision to expel more than a million people to the south of Gaza in order to free up space for further bombing…, reactions, allegedly ‘shocking’, but absolutely lukewarm in the political part of the world, in the most important world organizations, they say that we are entering a phase with no end in sight,” he stated.

In any case, he concluded that the phase will be both catastrophic and dramatic and will represent, according to his deep conviction, a major turning point in the world’s political reality.
