The President of Republika Srpska (RS), Milorad Dodik, said that starting today he will pay a two-day visit to Hungary, where he will attend the celebration of the monastery in Szentendre (St. Andrea), and the day after, meetings are planned with the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orban, and with the presidents of Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and Turkey.
Namely, Dodik mentioned that he received the invitation to attend the celebration of the monastery in Szentendre from Bishop Lukijan.
“I will attend the celebration of the glory of the monastery together with the member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) – Zeljka Cvijanovic, and I am happy that the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic will also be there because it is about celebrating an important and great holiday,” Dodik told reporters in Banja Luka.
Dodik said that after the glory of the monastery, Cvijanovic and he, at the invitation of Orban, will attend the celebration of the national holiday in Hungary.
“We will attend the ceremony in Budapest in the late afternoon and evening,” said Dodik.
Dodik emphasized that the talks with Orban that were held in Banja Luka will continue, with the aim of strengthening cooperation and contacts between Hungary and RS.
Dodik announced that he will also discuss energy projects with Orban.
Also, Dodik pointed out that he will inform the interlocutors in Hungary about the current political situation in BiH.
