The requirements of Halal standard are implemented in cocoa processing facilities, facilities for the production of waffle products with chocolate coating, cocoa cream, as well as marinated vegetables and spices.
Certification audit that took place in April, determined that the Halal standard BAS 1049: 2010 requirements were met, and that the company Gadžo Comerc can obtain halal certificate.
“Halal market and BH halal industry have been improved for 27 new halal products which are contributing the total halal product range. We would like to congratulate to the company Gadžo Comerc d.o.o. Sarajevo on the successful implementation of the Halal standard BAS 1049: 2010 requirements and we wish them much of success in their future work,” said Mr. Amir Sakić, Director of the Agency for Halal Quality Certification.
Successful implementation of halal standards in our production facilities as well as obtaining Halal certification is fully consistent with our basic commitment to produce high quality, safe, healthy and halal food. We are very proud of the fact that our products are labeled for halal quality and that we fulfilled the expectations and requirements of a large number of our consumers.
According to that, the company Gadžo-Comerc d.o.o Sarajevo applied defined regulations for Halal quality in all facilities engaged in the production of food and produce quality Halal products within their real possibilities. They obtain analyzes of the current situation on the daily basis and perform activities in order to improve the overall efficiency of Halal quality of the products,” said representative of the company.
The following products and product lines are covered by Halal certification: Biscuits with jelly and chocolate coating (Tops, Diva, Bravo, Bondi and Hello Kitty), cocoa cream spread “Cremito”, chocolate for baking and eating, marinated vegetables and food seasoning mix with vegetables.
Besides the domestic market, the company distributes their products on the American market, as well as Kosovo, Serbia, Croatia and Montenegro. The company will work on the labeling of the product with Halal Quality labels in the following period.
